Two Unusual Items Of Art Deco Furniture

We are always on the lookout for unusual pieces of Art Deco furniture and the two items we are featuring today are certainly that.

Both pieces are skillfully made from the most beautiful "birds eye" maple and are truly lovely to look at. This attractiveness is not simply due to the maker's choice of fine timber however, the real pièce de résistance is the unique cantilevered design that really catches the eye with its lovely curves - so typical of the Art Deco movement.

First of all, please take a look at this Double Sided Art Deco Style Cabinet Side Table:

Birds Eye Maple Art Deco Cabinet

This superb Art Deco cabinet is petite and suitable for use in even the smallest home measuring as it does just
2ft 1inch in height, (64cm) x 3ft 2inches in width, (96cm). The item is 2ft, or 60cm, deep.

One of the most attractive features is the design of the delightful drawers which appear on both sides of the cabinet, (i.e there are 8 drawers, 4 on each side).

If you like the look of that item, then meet its big brother, a somewhat taller version, as shown in the following photograph:

Art Deco Birds Eye Maple Cabinet

This cabinet stands a little taller at 3ft 3inches (98cm) and is the same width as the smaller model, at 3ft 2inches. There isn't quite so much surface space however, the shelves being only 1ft 2inches or 35cm deep. This time, there are only four drawers.

Purchased individually, or as a pair, these Art Deco cabinets will grace any space into which they are placed and they are available to view at our north London showroom or online here.

We will ship these cabinets worldwide, please request a shipping quotation.
